I have two revivals; Pride and Prejudice is back at Regents park in late August and then on Tour, working with Deborah Bruce and Max Jones again. While Harrogate last seen at Hightide will have a run at the Royal Court in October and then a short Tour.

Meanwhile i am working on two new plays which feel very timely, examining the demise of socialism and how to be compassionate in the modern world. Both centre around a former dockyard union leader, one in Brooklyn and the other in Liverpool !

The Intelligent Homosexual’s Guide to Capitalism and Socialism with a Key to the Scriptures by Tony Kushner opens in October at Hampstead theatre. Directed By Michael Boyd

While the Seven acts of Mercy by Anders Lustgarten  opens at the RSC in November, directed by Erica Whyman.

more on all these projects as the designs are finalised, but i am enjoying some reflective design time in my studio !

Curtain up, my V and A exhibition in collaboration with Architect Alan Farlie, will be mounted at the New York Library of the Performing Arts at the Lincoln Center also opening in November.

Next Year I will be working with Michael Boyd again on Pelleas and Melisande at Garsington.
