Bracken Moor with Shared Experience

Following on from Red Velvet in The Tricycle I will be designing for Alexei Cambell’s new play Bracken Moor, Directed by Polly Teale, Lighting by Oliver Fenwick. This has been a great pleasure to design so far, on the surface a naturalistic play set in the grand house of a Yorkshire mine owner in the 30s, but rapidly  turning into a biting social commentary and ghost story combined. It has been exciting to see how i can use the tricycle space, with its highly theatrical proscenium have way back within the stage and also try and get a sense of both the house and the mines on which its prosperity is built.
